Comments:

Apart from the 1568 German edition, there is also a 1574 Latin edition. [Scan 1], [Scan 2]. The same woodcut was still used in 1641 [USTC].

Falconer Madan (1895, page 236): ‘It is in many ways important, being the first representation of a press designed to who its real construction and working. The moment chosen is just after the form has been run out after taking the impression.’
