An authentic and operational Ramage printing press occupies the shop where Mr. Broadman, editor of the Alabama Republican newspaper, printed the official Journal of 1819 Constitutional Convention and issued the first printing of the Constitution of the State of Alabama.’ (13 August 1999, page 70.)
