Comments:

Nigel Roche (2000, page 41) describes illustration M: ‘An oval within a rectangular frame shows a laterally-reversed image based on K. [= Badius 1548.] The motto around the oval reads ‘In sudore vultus tui vesceris pane tuo’.’ (= ‘In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread’, Genesis 3:19.).

Louis-Catherine Silvestre (1853) does not mention this mark.
