This inventory of wooden printing presses is mainly based on internet searches.

1. Which details to record?
Several inventories and censuses have been published. Most notable by Philip Gaskell, Frans Janssen, Elizabeth Harris, and Alan May. They've indicated the main points of each press.

Concluding: Only the main points are recorded. Further detailed study is required.

2. Which software to use?
The digital opportunities to present a collection is endless and continuously changing. Uncertain how long the software is available, supported, and in need of updates. It is hoped that the image format .jpg and the file formats .html in combination with CSS will be stable. For this reason, there are no cookies and no security installations either.

Concluding: Basic HTML and CSS was used throughout.
