The text on the head states: “The No.1 Bobcat Press made for Benjamin Franklin for his printing pleasure by Richard Hicks. Cedar Crest, New Mexico. Model No. 1. 1981. Serial No. 9.”

The press belongs to Ralph Archbold, a Franklin impersonator.
