Comments:

The Latin edition was first published in 1564, and reprinted in 1566, 1569, 1576, 1584. This first edition did not include the woodcut of the rolling press [Scan]. It was used in the second edition in 1566.
A Dutch edition ‘Emblemata in Nederlantsche tale ghetrouwelick overgheset.’ was translated by Marcus Antonius Gillis of van Diest and was published in 1566 [USTC].
A French edition, translated by Jacques Grévin was printed in the same year, but has 1567 on its title page.
This woodblock is kept in the Plantin Moretus Museum in Antwerp, Belgium. (object number: MPM.HB.01637)
