Comments:

At least five different engravings of this illustration were used in the 21 editions that were printed between 1695 and 1800. The appendices contain a preliminary bibliography and an overview of 21 illustrations.

There is only one 1694 edition in the Dutch Short title catalogue, but at least 3 editions were printed in 1694. The second edition used the same illustrations. In the third edition, the plates were cut around the frames to replace the engraved text with a text printed in metal type.

Eeghen and Kellen (1905) describe the illustrations. On page 257, this illustration has number 1423.
