Comments:

The text states: ‘John Kendray copper-plate printer in White’s Alley, Chancery Lane, London. Prints All sorts of cuts for books, shopkeepers Bills, Leases, Indentures, Writs, Bonds, Releases, Recoveries &c. As also A great variety of School Pieces, Copy-Book covers, Tickets for clubs, visiting tickets &c. Where All sorts of Copper plates are neatly Engraved & printed after the best manner, & at the most Reasonable Rates.’.

The description in the Lewis Walpole Library (Yale University) states: ‘A collection of English engraved advertisements, trade cards, invitations to society functions, and bookplates probably compiled around 1758 by F. [ or T.?] Legge of St. James's Market and mounted in an album, with five later items laid-in.’
